Despite the “VideoGate” incident, and all the trash talk of certain members of the San Diego Chargers, the Pats totally dominated tonight.
It was a perfect night to be at Gillette – gorgeous weather, the team firing on all cylinders, and the crowd was wild.
Too bad the Sox lost, though – was watching the game via Slingbox and giving updates in the stands..
[Disclaimer: I grew up a Mets fan in a family of Yankee fans. Adopted the Red Sox after I moved to the Boston area in 1989 – hey, the Mets had won a Series, might as well pull for the other guys. This has caused all sorts of grief from the aforementioned Yankee fans.]
Not one of the call-ups, but Dice-K. Someone must have the stat counting how many games he’s had a one-inning meltdown. Tonight’s was impressive, if you were a Baltimore or Yankee fan.
Meanwhile, A-Rod had another two-homer game.
Baseball in September. Gotta love it.
